Hypermotive to play key role in consortium developing innovative electric motorcycle
Hypermotive are thrilled to be part of a consortium of UK companies developing an innovative electric motorcycle under the iconic BSA brand.
BSA Company Limited, the organisation that is resurrecting the iconic BSA brand are developing a retro roadster, combining classic style with the latest innovations in e-mobility. Classic Legends (BSA), part of the Mahindra Group, have been in the news recently for breathing new life into the classic Jawa and BSA brands.
Adam Huckstep, Managing Director at Hypermotive, “Having mis-spent my own youth on motorcycles, I’m proud that Hypermotive have been charged with delivering the electrical integration on this exciting and iconic project – helping to knit together the cutting-edge battery, motor and telematics technologies provided by project partners Dana TM4, Warwick Manufacturing Group, Vital-Auto and Microlise. This project gives us the opportunity to exploit our experience with electric motorcycles, and deploy some of our innovative solutions to power distribution and battery fast charging – albeit hidden behind some retro-cool styling!”
