Hypermotive opens new manufacturing facility!

Hypermotive have expanded its manufacturing capacity for the 2nd time in 2 years with the opening of a new dedicated manufacturing facility in Sterling Business Park, Northampton, UK.
The 10,000ft2 building (which has the potential to be extended by a further 6,000ft2 to support our continued growth), has undergone an extensive fit-out to Hypermotive’s exacting specifications; to provide additional build stations, production lines, vehicle workshop area and additional office space to support Hypermotive’s growing tier 1 production manufacturing business.

Commercial Director Brad O’Nians; “The new facility, a stones’ throw from our previous factory, represents a significant investment in the growth of Hypermotive – providing a step change in our manufacturing capacity and capability, and providing further space for our future expansion plans.
With custom-designed build stations for low and high voltage wiring harnessing, series production lines for our electrical and hydrogen systems products, plus a separate mechanical build area, we can offer greater capacity and wider capability to our existing customers, combined with a greater efficiency. The new 20 person office space has also supported further recruitment into our manufacturing, quality, purchasing and admin teams”
